Section 1: Introduction
Drift Gallery LLC ("we," "us") operates the Drift Gallery platform at driftgallery.io. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Section 2: Data Collected
- Account information: Email address, username, display name, avatar image
- Payment information: Processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other financial account details. We store only Stripe customer IDs and account IDs for reference.
- Content: Images you upload, Recipe content (prompt text, tool instructions, style guides), Blueprint content (prompts, settings, ComfyUI workflows, LoRA references, creator notes), comments, bio text
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, collected through privacy-respecting analytics. No third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
- Communications: Support emails, feedback submissions, DMCA notices
Section 3: How We Use Your Data
- Provide and operate the Platform
- Process payments via Stripe
- Enforce our Terms of Service, Content Policy, and other policies
- Send required transactional emails (verification, password reset, payment receipts)
- Send optional notification emails (tips, purchases, newsletters — you can opt out)
- Improve the Platform based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
Section 4: Data Sharing
We share data only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the Platform:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, image storage (R2)
- Sightengine — content moderation (images are sent for scanning)
- Resend — email delivery
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Vercel — application hosting
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Section 5: Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
Section 6: Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active
- Deleted accounts: Personal data deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Already-purchased Recipes and Blueprints remain accessible to buyers (displayed as "Deleted Artist"). Payment records are retained as required by tax law.
- Moderation logs: Retained for 2 years for policy enforcement and legal compliance
Section 7: Data Export (GDPR Right of Access)
You may request a copy of your data by emailing legal@driftgallery.io with the subject "Data Request." We will respond within 30 days. Export includes: profile data, post metadata, Recipe metadata, Blueprint metadata, purchase history, comments, follows, and notifications in JSON format. Images are downloadable directly from the Platform. Payment data is accessible via your Stripe dashboard.
Section 8: COPPA Compliance
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will terminate the account and delete associated data promptly.
Section 9: GDPR Rights (EEA/UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact legal@driftgallery.io. We will respond within 30 days.
Section 10: CCPA Rights (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact legal@driftgallery.io.
Section 11: International Tax Disclosure
Artists are solely responsible for all tax obligations in their jurisdiction. For US artists, Stripe issues 1099-K forms above IRS reporting thresholds. International artists are responsible for reporting income and complying with local tax laws. Drift Gallery does not provide tax advice or withhold taxes on behalf of creators.
Section 12: Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
